We want you to compare apples to apples.

Here is a quick, easy comparison of two popular siding options:

LP® Smart Side® Siding
Built for durability and long-term performance.
Lp smart siding will always be our top choice for your shed.
Why customers love it:
• Stronger & more impact-resistant (great for Colorado weather)
• Engineered to resist moisture, rot, and pests
o Wont warp or split overtime
• Termite resistant
• Holds paint longer and looks great over time
• Long manufacturer warranty – 5yr/50yr

Best for:
Customers who want a low-maintenance, long-lasting shed that can handle sun, snow, and temperature swings.

Masonite Siding
Engineered Hardboard made from wood fibers.
An older product that tends to swell and fail overtime

Why customers choose it:
• Lower upfront cost but not a long-lasting product
• Classic wood-look appearance
• Widely used in older sheds and structures

Things to consider:
• More prone to moisture damage over time
o Prone to rotting, delaminating and swelling when exposed to moisture
• May require more maintenance (painting, repairs)
• Shorter lifespan than LP siding

Portable Shed Standard Features

Closed Cell Spray Foam Insulation

Open cell spray foam is cheaper & better at blocking out noise whereas our closed cell foam is more dense and works better at blocking air flow. At 2" thick you also gain the benefits of a vapor barrier.
Gets into small cracks & crevices. Once the foam is applied directly it expands and dries quickly while blocking air & water. Which also works to block out heat & cold. It is more expensive up front but will save you money on heating & cooling in the long run. In the winter it protects from cold and moisture (condensation) & during the summer it protects from heat.
Due to the foam getting into small crevices it helps to seal up your walls preventing more allergens from getting in.
Any tiny hole in your building structure can be open invitation for ants, bugs & small rodents. Once sprayed on, closed foam insulation hardens and creates a barrier against bugs and rodents.
Closed foam insulation helps provide a moisture barrier from entering thru the walls as the closed cell spray foam works like a barrier against large quantities of water. Whereas batt insulation soaks up the water and over time will mold.
Due to its density and hardness, closed cell insulation can actually strengthen the structure of your walls. One of the benefits of spray foam is it gets everywhere, and it holds everything together as strong as glue.
Fiberglass and Styrofoam insulation aren’t long-term solutions. Fiberglass sags and bunches, while Styrofoam breaks over the years. These types of insulation need to be replaced over time. Spray foam insulation doesn’t sag or break over an extended period. Even though your initial investment is larger, spray foam saves you money in the long term.
Spray foam reduces energy consumption and protects your building against mold and mildew growth. Since its longer lasting than other types of insulation, it comes less materials.
Due to all the benefits mentioned above it will also add value to your building.
